Screen Printed Digital Photo Frames

Most of our Digital Photo Frames can be screen printed with your company logo with great effect. All digital photo frames are printed to an excellent quality and we're always more than happy to show you a sample of our print work.

All our screen printing uses solid colour printing and the relevant pantone colours associated with each logo. Due to the small size of the print, no shades or halftones are used, just a crisp solid colour finish.

How Screen Printing Works

The image is output to film, whish is then exposed to a light sensitive stencil which has been applied to a screen - a fine fabric mesh stretched over an aluminimum frame. When processed this allows ink to pass through the mesh in the shape of the image

The frame is carefully positioned in the printing machine so that the image is correctly positioned over the digital photo frame, which is locked into a jig on the machine bed.

In the print process a squeegee passes across the image on the mesh and the ink is transferred to the digital photo frame. The ink dries, bonding to the digital photo frame as it does.

This process is repeated for each colour associated with the client's logo

Design Guidelines

Each logo needs to be supplied as a digital file. For best results and with the least chance of delays or errors this should be a vector file such as Adobe Illustrator. This allows us to resize and make and amendments required whilst maintaining a high quality image. Other formats may be useable but there is a greater possibility of problems. Please do not save a JPEG or Bitmap file into Adobe Illustrator, this does not work. The logo needs to be created in Illustrator or a similar program.

The design itself should be composed of solid colours. No halftones or areas of shading. This is because shades are produced by printing small dots of colour to make up an image. The size of our digital photo frames are too small for this style of printing to be of good quality. The same applies to the term full colour printing.
